Oriental Meatballs

This one I just improvised based on some ingredients and flavours that I like. It goes very well with some hummus or baba ghanoush dip and some grilled vegetables.

Ingredients:

  • 300 gr minced meat
  • fresh parsley
  • 1 small onion
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 tsp cumin
  • 1/4 tsp koriander
  • 1/4 tsp chilli
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp balsamico vinegar
  • a handful of pine nuts
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp almond flour

Instructions:

  • Mix the meat, minced onion, parsley, salt, pepper, cumin, coriander, chilli, cinnamon and balsamic vinegar and put it in the fridge for at least 5 hours
  • Add the pine nuts, beaten egg, and almond flour to the seasoned meat and mix well
  • Form 8-10 meatballs
  • Put in the oven at 210 C for about 25-30 min
