This is a favourite Italian dish that goes really well with cauliflower rice. A very yummy dinner 🙂

Servings 3 servings (10 meatballs – each serving 3-4 meatballs)
Ingredients
- 250-300 gr ground beef
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- a fresh onion
- 1/4 tsp dried oregano leaves
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley plus more for garnish, if desired
- 2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp almond flour
- 1/2 large egg beaten
- 1/2 cup arabiata sauce and heavy cream mix
- 1/2 cup shredded whole milk mozzarella
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 177 C
- combine the ground beef, parsley, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion, oregano, Mix thoroughly, then leave in the fridge for at least 4 hours
- add Parmesan, almond flour and egg
- Form the meat mixture into 10 meatballs. Bake 20 minutes.
- Place the meatballs in a casserole dish large enough to fit them all. Spoon the arabiata sauce evenly over, then sprinkle the cheese overtop.
- Bake another 25 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley
