Nut-free fathead bagels

These are probably THE best bagels I baked since I started my Keto journey! I used Brenda’s (sugar free mom) nut-free fathead dough and it didn’t disappoint 🙂

Recipe for 6 big bagels

Dough

  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 85 gr cream cheese
  • 3/4 cup coconut flour
  • some black seed to decorate
  • 1/2 tsp xanthan gum
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

  • preheat oven to 204 C
  • melt the 2 cups shredded mozzarella with the cream cheese on the stove top until combined 
  • mix the remaining ingredients into a dough then stir them in the melted cheese and mix together (I added some black seed to the mix and decorated with some more)
  • form them into bagels then bake for 15 min
  • let cool before serving
